Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests are tools for every day citizens to hold government officials accountable for the execution of their duties in a lawful manner.  The information obtained via FOIA requests can be used to inform the general public about the conduct of our officials and, when warranted, serve as basis of legal filings to hold officials accountable for misconduct.  These FOIA requests often cost money, so your financial support in this pursuit is indeed appreciated.
